The radio gods smiled upon our crew and gave us a perfect day for hiking and radio activation.

I was joined by Crimson, Charles, my father in law Blaine, his buddy Doug and Doug’s dog Cash. I couldn’t have asked for a better crew an better weather. We had blue bird skies, a nice breeze and perfect a temp.

Although this is a bushwhack hike, we had a very well defined herd path that was easy to follow the entire way up to the summit.

After signing the notebook in the summit can, we set up a lil camp and I worked CW while everyone had a lunch break.

I made a clean 10 QSOs all on 20m.

A perfect hike with perfect weather. A true birthday treat.

To wrap up the day we had some beers and burgers at a local brewery.
