W2/GC-009 - North Dome

I activated W2/GC-009 North Dome on 7/13/2026. This was a tough hike. It was very hot and humid. I hiked in from mink hollow tail head off Spruceton rd.

The trail was a very steep bushwhack. I can’t say this was a favorite hike, but I’m glad I checked it off the list. If I ever do this summit again, I would hike in from Shaft road and pick it off with Mt Sherrill.
