W2/GC-108 - Eagle Mountain

I hiked W2/GC-108 - Eagle Mountain on 7/8/2026.

I really enjoyed this hike. The summit was uneventful, as there were no views at the top. However the first half of the trail up the valley is along a beautiful stream, which made for some great views. I had to stay focused since this was a longer hike, but I could have spent the whole day a long the stream.

The band were in rough shape for a few days and it was a challenge make any QSO’s. I spent a little extra time on the summit and was able to grind out 10 QSO’s
